Practical renewable energy for remote Queensland.
We develop solar, battery storage and microgrid solutions designed around the energy needs of remote industry and communities.
DesertSky brings together renewable generation, battery storage and microgrid development to address the challenges of remote power. Our focus is practical: understand local demand, establish network constraints and develop a technically credible, commercially viable energy solution. We work towards more resilient local supply, lower energy costs and a repeatable model for suitable remote Queensland locations.
Harnessing Queensland's abundant sunlight to deliver reliable, cost-effective power generation for remote locations.
Pairing generation with storage to smooth supply, manage demand peaks and improve energy resilience.
Integrated microgrid systems designed for the specific network conditions and commercial realities of remote Queensland.
Southwest Queensland
Our anchor project explores a solar and battery microgrid for local energy needs in Queensland's Southwest. Development work is focused on system modelling, network integration and a viable operating and commercial model. Final design and delivery remain subject to technical validation, network agreement and project approvals.
Building a repeatable regional model
DesertSky aims to scale to other suitable remote locations. Future opportunities will be assessed on local demand, network conditions and commercial viability.

We welcome enquiries from remote businesses, councils, communities and prospective project partners.
